Poem: If I ever see your face again

woman bright flowers

If I ever see your face again
I’ll cry
and want to die because
I know I’ll lose you
all over again.

Poem: Useless

Image may contain: outdoor

You had it all
Private school
You fool.
The parents, the friends,
the Old Boy’s network
Didn’t take the job with the shirt
Instead you walk by
slouching
with a stroller
incompetent fool
now with that controller.
You should have told her to get lost
Act like the Boss.
Instead you chose chaos
Hated the gloss
And now your life has been tossed.

Poem: The Wonder of You

man writing notebook_fl

If you love someone
but can’t be with them
immortalize them in a novel
treasure and honour your memory of them
preserve those precious moments

Poem: The Guitar

man woman sat guitar

Then one day
alone in a room
he sat strumming on his guitar
and realized
if he couldn’t be with her
he’d write songs about her instead.
His lyrics would express all the
words he wished he could say to her….

Her laughter inspired melodies,
the longing for her night after night
soon turned into an album.

Poem: The Cracks

mirror colorful

I see through you.
What? Me.
Yes, you.
Impossible, I am your reflection.
I could smash you into pieces.
But you’ll show up elsewhere when you least expect it.
Like in a window reflection.
I’d pop up in someone’s glasses.
In the face of someone you love
or someone you despise.
I’m always there…

Poem: Lonesome

girl lying in bed

The greatest tragedy
that lay in her heart
was that the one she loved
The First One,
the One
or so she thought…

Well he was the one
who attempted to enter her
uninvited.

It tore her
left her broken
in two.

So now she remains
alone
solo
